kitti waterfall and nalep

 another jungle hike... to a waterfall with the youth from the kitti branch. they were such fun to be around.

of course josh had to jump. doesn't look high here, but it was HIGH. 

when we returned, we found the adults busy at work in their kitchen fixing us "locale food". very time intensive, so it was exceptionally generous of them.
coconut bread, and baked coconut and tapioca in the "uhwm"...traditional way of baking in firepit then covered in banana leaves.

on an overcast day, we caught a 30 minute boat ride to a nearby little island, nahlep. they had grass huts to rent for the day. we explored, snorkeled,
 held blue starfish (!!), collected coral from all over the beach, saw a real live pig roast (wowzer), and enjoyed our tinfoil dinners.

we found a little white chapel in the middle of the jungle on nahlep. so, we decided to renew our vows.
