valentines

first off, i just love having two valentines in my life. i got to love and adore jonah by day, and josh by night. jonah and i have so much fun together. he got a helium balloon for his valentine gift. we enjoyed bopping it all day. we also enjoyed dancing, laughing, and being matchy matchy red together. it's true love.
for gifts we kept it simple this year. josh and i made valentine boxes the night before. tapped into our elementary art skillz. josh went with the island theme and you probably had to be there...but... when he was done, i looked and he wrote "mala kaliki laka mari" all fancy on top. i looked at him and said, "doesn't that mean merry christmas mari?" he looked up at me so serious and said, "yep". hahahaha after that we laughed and couldn't breathe and cried for at least 5 minutes. he makes me laugh! after he could speak, he said that for some reason in his mind he was thinking that meant "i love you". i knew what he meant.
so, when josh got home from work... jonah boy got booted to an early bedtime. we cooked dinner together- so very fun.
we bought snow crab legs off a traveling salesman (??? i know) in january. let me just say- THOSE CRAB LEGS EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS!!! amazing. delicious. we won't forget that meal for awhile.
we opened our valentines boxes we filled for each other, made pazookies, and cozied in on a cold february night.
one of my favorite valentine's days yet.

OOh! Crab legs! Fun! And that is hilarious about the "merry christmas" thing. I can just see you two having the best laugh.
