Jonah started his birthday by going to church. Which is great for him- he got to see some of his most adoring fans (my Primary class). After a nice long nap, we started his Rubber Ducky party. My mom always threw us themed parties, and I loved them. Right now it's tough to pinpoint things Jonah loves (besides more abstract things like being tickled, peekaboo, ripping paper, etc), but he really does love his rubber ducky. If i was to pick his first word that actually associated with something, it would be 'duck'. We'll have many fun themed parties to come, and hopefully we won't ever get too hokey...we'll see. We love to celebrate! 1 year with Jonah Bug. Definitely something to celebrate.
He loved it! We love him! Thank you to Merry (Josh's sister) and her family coming to party with us. Jonah loves his cousins, so that was perfect. Of course, he ended the night with his first bubble bath and duckies.

Hey Mari! thanks for stopping by my blog! you are so sweet! i feel like a terrible writer.. i just write what is in my head and don't think... and it's usually all a mess and gramattically wrong but thank you for your compliment! and i love those stockings too! i got them at Target a couple of years ago! I don't know if they would still have them but I love Target because they have simple stuff like that that isn't overly cheesy or anything like that! so i am sure they would have stuff similar still! i hope you can find something like it! :) p.s. your little boy is adorable! i hope he had a fun birthday! :)
