the good life

we were really party animals in march and i can't keep up with documenting it all. it was an unusually lively month- which is fun time to time. this last weekend we listened to our church leaders in a worldwide conference. it's always inspiring. afterwards i'm thinking about how full life can be (in a good way). there is so much to do... so much to be. there is self-improvement and spirituality to pursue daily. there is serving, helping, outreach that my heart yearns to take part in. at first i was overwhelmed at wondering at it all, but i thought about this quote for some reason.

“Learn to enjoy every minute of your life. Be happy now. Don’t wait for something outside of yourself to make you happy in the future. Think how really precious is the time you have to spend, whether it’s at work or with your family.” Earl Nightingale

there is plenty in my life to be grateful for and fill with goodness. unfortunately, there is plenty to gripe about too. no reason for that! i will take what i need to from the inspiring messages and move forward. right now my family is my work and i intend to enjoy it.
