Snow Storm 2010

this isn't our car, but ours looked just like it. or worse. because it was 2 cars. i need to find a way to get our pix downloaded. to prove that we have been part of this historic snow storm of DC.
it started coming down friday at noon and came down and down and down until saturday evening. long before that though the media was making this whole city lose their heads. snow shovels. sold out. milk. sold out. costco. a zoo. wal-mart. a zoo. you could feel the madness in the air.

it was what they said though... a huge storm. 80,000 without power. it was fun saturday for us though. we watched it come down and played and still had power for hot cocoa and soup. then it stopped suddenly and a mess was left. sunday, we spent most the day digging the cars out. yuck. those news people, they've called it 'snowmageddon'. everyone has been quite extreme about it, but it has been extreme. we were going to take it to the extreme and build a whole snow family, but probably not after hauling snow off the cars all day.... wild winter!
